George Camilletti manages and maintains the Goodyear Heighbors Community Outreach and Food Center.
During the 2017 year, more than 12,679 families, which included 39,211 individuals, (3,505 seniors, 20,840 adults and 14,866 children) visited the food center and received groceries, personal care and dental items. In addition, many families received cleaning supplies, household items, books, diapers, layettes, schools supplies and Christmas items. The food center volunteers gave more than 14,000 hours of their time to help those in need throughout the community. More than 1,000 families visit the food center every month.
The Good Neighbors Food Center is located on the corner of Goodyear Boulevard and Malasia Road and Bingham Path. The Food Center address is 1453 Goodyear Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44305. The Food Center entrance is located at 1456 Bingham Path, Akron, Ohio 44305. Weather permitting, the Food Center is open Monday through Friday from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., we do close for holidays. Visits are permitted every 30 days with a referral and identification.
