George Camilletti manages and maintains the Good Neighbors Community Outreach and Food Center.
During the 2018 year, the dedicated food center volunteers gave more than 16,552 hours of their time to assist 12,994 households, which included 39,426 individuals, (3,947 seniors, 20,949 adults and 14,530 children) with groceries, personal care items, books and dental supplies. In addition, many of these families received cleaning supplies, household items, books, diapers, wipes, layettes, schools supplies and Christmas gifts. More than 1,000 families visit our food center every month.
The Good Neighbors Food Center is located on the corner of Goodyear Boulevard and Malasia Road and Bingham Path. The Food Center address is 1453 Goodyear Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44305. The Food Center entrance is located at 1456 Bingham Path, Akron, Ohio 44305. Weather permitting, the Food Center is open Monday through Friday from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., we do close for holidays. Visits are permitted every 30 days with a referral and identification.
