Thanks to their dedicated volunteers and generous supporters, Green Good Neighbors has been helping those in need for more than 51 years. Their first organizational meeting was held on February 27, 1968.
New Policy For The Green Good Neighbors 2018 Due to the lack of storage space, we will no longer accept out of season clothes, shoes, and home décor; electronics, including TVs and computers; sports equipment; luggage; cars seats; cribs; books; magazines; VHS tapes; and metal hangers. We will only accept items that are new/gently used, in season, clean, and in working order. We are not able to repair, clean, mend, or launder donations. We will continue to accept in season clothing and shoes; kitchen and bath linens; small kitchen appliances; kitchenware; diapers and small baby equipment; toys; new and unopened food items; and new personal care products. For large furniture, please call 330-899-9880 on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am-12:00 pm to make arrangements. There is a donation shed available for drop offs 24/7 at the rear of Greensburg United Methodist Church located at 2161 Greensburg Road. Please do not leave anything outside of the shed. Volunteers are available on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am-12:00 pm to assist you with unloading your vehicle.
The Green Good Neighbors Unit was started on February 27, 1968 in the Greensburg United Methodist Church. Dorothy Cormany and Patricia Stiles manage the Green Unit. Dorothy began volunteering in 1993 and Patricia in 2003.
Green Good Neighbors Volunteers
During the 2018 year, the dedicated Green Good Neighbors Volunteers gave 10,126 hours of their time to assist 2,434 households (7,138 individuals) with groceries and 2,434 households (7,544 individuals) with clothing. In addition, many of these families received household items, school supplies and Christmas gifts.

Box 155, Green, Ohio 44232 Phone: 330-899-9880 Open on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The clothing drop box is in the parking lot behind the church. Food and clothing unit. Visits are permitted every 30 days with a referral and identification.
