Thanks to great community support, the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors was able to purchase their new building. They continue to provide groceries, clothing, shoes, coats, blankets and household items to many families in need.
Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors Volunteers
Kim Gaug is the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors Chairperson. Kim served as the past Good Neighbors Council President and Vice President. Her mother, Louise Coyle, helped open the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors in 1968. Louise volunteered for more than 40 years and served as the past Good Neighbors Council President.
During the 2016 year, the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors provided groceries and clothing to 5,010 families (12,794 individuals, 4,854 children and 7,940 adults). More than 509 families (823 adults and 535 children) were helped with Christmas gifts and more than 191 families (450 children) received back to school supplies. Volunteers gave more than 13,041 hours of their time to help many families in need throughout their community. During the 2015 year, the Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors provided 3,829 food orders for 876 families. School clothes and supplies were provided to 404 children and $6,060 in shoe vouchers were dispensed. Volunteers gave more than 12,401 hours of their time to help those in need throughout their community.
